Purpose
Most of the people who write to the university from this site live in Colombia. This policy is the one Ley 1581 de 2012 and Decreto 1377 de 2013 ask the person responsible for the data to publish.

What is processed, and what for
The data the contact form collects: program of interest, first and last name, email, WhatsApp number and country of residence. It is processed to answer the enquiry, to send information about the programs and to accompany an admission.
The university does not ask for sensitive data, and does not collect data from children or adolescents.
The authorization
It is given by ticking the box on the form before sending it, and it is kept with the enquiry, with the date it was given. It covers the sending of the data to the United States, where the university is and where the services that store it keep it.
Rights of the data subject
- To know, update and correct their data.
- To ask for proof of the authorization they gave.
- To be told how their data has been used.
- To bring a complaint before the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio.
- To withdraw the authorization and ask for the data to be deleted, where no duty requires keeping it.
- To access their data free of charge.
How to exercise them
By writing to info@betauni.com with the name, the request and a way to answer. Admissions attends to them.
An enquiry is answered within ten business days. If it cannot be answered in that time, the person is told why and the date it will be answered, no more than five business days later.
A claim is settled within fifteen business days. If it cannot be settled in that time, the person is told why and the date it will be settled, no more than eight business days later. An incomplete claim is returned within five days of being received so it can be completed.
How long the data is kept
While the purposes above last, and afterwards only for as long as a legal or accounting duty requires.
